Hello
My name is Emma
So jewellery is not actually my main job, I am first and foremost a grief and trauma counsellor working in my private practice in Cape Town—a role deeply rooted in compassion, presence and connection. Supporting people through some of life’s most difficult transitions is at the heart of who I am and what I do.
However, before I became a counsellor, I spent a year studying Jewellery Design and Metal Techniques at Stellenbosch University. Though I later followed my calling into psychology, my love for creating with my hands never left. I have found the balance of counselling and my jewellery craft to be wonderfully fulfilling and balancing in my life. Making jewellery has remained a quiet and grounding companion—an expression of stillness, creativity, and care. It is a form of reflection and calm, an outlet that honours the beauty in small moments. My jewellery is a heartfelt extension of that space, grounded in the same values I bring to my counselling work: care, presence, and authenticity.
